2010-02-27 Cape Town Landmark lighting Rotary Shoot

This sequence of photographs, the collective work of a of a wind-lashed photographer, shows how events unfolded at our Rotary Landmark Lighting, at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, February 23rd, 2010.
Storm clouds gathered throughout the day and one massive cumulus formation after another passed by, just south of the City.
Come 6:30pm, the wind had built significantly and an hour or so later was threatening to blow our photographer, gear and all, into the waters of Table Bay harbour.
The size of the cloud on Table Mountain, known by locals as the 'table cloth', is a measure of the the strength of the south east wind. As the images reflect, it grew considerably in the two hours captured here.
